Nowtv is a fairly new technology that allows you to watch Sky TV via the internet. The advantage of Nowtv is that you do not need to go in a contract like the Sky HD Box but you can start and stop your subscription when you want. You also have full control over your account so it makes life much easier for you and is perfect especially if you have a holiday home and only need to use the system a few months a year. In order for the nowtv box to work outside the UK you need to use it together with one of our VPN Routers which adds you to our UK Network.
The cost for the VPN Router is £10/ month.
The Nowtv box has freeview Apps such as BBC Iplayer, ITV Player which you can watch both live and on-demand programs. You also have access to Channel4OD and Chanel 5 Player but you can only watch OnDemand with these Apps. There’s also other good Apps that comes pre-installed with NowTV that you can access for free.
If you want to watch premium Sky content on the Nowtv box you need to use the Nowtv App which comes on the box, this gives you access to Sky content such as Sky Entertainment, Sky Cinema and Sky Sports, please see the prices below for NowTV Passes:
